I did NOT do enough snowman building, but I did more than enough walking gingerly over the ice.
At this point, I could go either way. Either a good snow so I can build some snowmen, or else let's get spring in gear. I am tired of riding my bike in the basement.
Your tongue on a pole???LMAO...what made you think of that one?? Happy TT and thanks for stopping by.
I've definitely had enough of this snow. Check out my blog, Spring is in the air! Happy T13!
Qu'est-ce que c'est, la neige?
Winter is the one time of year I'm happy to live in Florida. The rest of the time its just hot here.
Happy TT!
Heh. I love knowing the French for getting your tongue stuck on a pole. Happens to everyone, I guess.
Mine:
13 Hearts
Snow. I want to run around naked in it.
Iron Pugilist - the novelty of running naked in the snow would run out in about 40 seconds.
Great list, Jill - we just had another snowfall last night (actually, it was a perfect snowfall - huge flakes, no drifting, everything coated in fairyland white.) But I want to garden...
But I will enjoy those first 40 seconds, Julia... I most certainly will.
For whatever it's worth - I present to you the same words in Swedish:
1.Snow/Snö
2. Snowflake/Snöflinga
3. Shovelling/Skotta
4. Igloo/Igloo
5.Ice/Glass
6. Sliding/Glider
7. Skating/Aka skridskor
8.Snowball / Snöboll
9.Icicle/Istapp
10.Snowstorm/Snöstorm
11.Your tongue on a pole/ Din tunga på en påle
12.Falling on your ass over ther ice/ Lappa sig i på isen
13.Freezing Rain/ Is regn
Susan, I think I actually didn't do one this year!
And don't get me starting on my bike(even if yours is motored, not mine!)
Lori, I was asking myself which expression will go with cold weather!
Adelle, spring sounds so far, this year!
Nicholas, take a picture of almost everywhere in Canada, that is snow!
And it is that thing that we don't know where to put anymore!
Nicole...Stop bragging, please!!
Damozel, it is fun, I think, in all language!
IP, there is a lot around my house! And if you don't want anyone but me to see your butt, there is wood near!
Julia, IP lives in Australia...I presume he has never experience -30 weather!
We didn't actually had a lot of those this year! I adore walking when it is snowing like that! I think it is too cold this year!
IP, it would be hard to run into it this year, it is pretty high!
And you would need something to warm up after!;)
REH, thank for the Swedish lesson! It is kind of a mix between french and english! When do I get the oral lesson?
I had something to say until I read REH talking about tongues and poles. Damn. Now I'm hungry. ~wicked grin~
